| I am considering joining the local Chamber of Commerce here and wonder if others have found the association useful to thier business. |

To be honest, I have never bothered joining our local Chamber. But then I have more work than I need already (I'm lucky!).
I imagine it could be good for networking, but I suspect it also depends what business you're in.

We are members but we joined for one main reason.They offer great merchant fees which saved us a lot of money. The yearly fee is worth the savings easily. I have only been to one networking event as i do not really have the time. I made one contact that spends a few pounds with us every month so i suppose it paid for my time.
