Hello! I'm Shannon or Shay, whichever you prefer. Wink I'm 20 years old and am majoring in accounting at my local community college (an AAS degree). For some reason, I have always loved money, numbers, math, etc. so I hope this is a good place for me to be! lol. I'll be starting my 3rd semester later this month, so maybe I'll be able to get a little homework help here also. lol See you around!! Very Happy

Welcome to the forums, Shay. What do you hope to do when you've completed your studies? Be an accountant?

mm...I guess so...I'm not really sure. I really only like the financial accounting aspect of it so far. I am horrible at taxes, and I did horribly in my managerial accounting class. It seems the easiest for me was financial accounting. Wouldn't that be like bookkeeping?

I would say 'keep your options open' and don't feel you're confined to doing something like book-keeping. Your course probably opens you up for many more opportunities.
