That's a good one. Do you have any suggestion on its description? Also I'm thinking about credit card. What do you think? _________________ Online Finance Education :: College Degrees |

What are the legal grounds for that? Do you have to specify somewhere that no comments on here constitute financial advice or anything? _________________ Finance Choices |

As far as accounting and tax advices are concerned, I don't think there is any strict guideline or regulation (though I'll ask around about this), unless, of course, you are suggesting something illegal or questionable way to avoid paying any tax. _________________ Online Finance Education :: College Degrees |

I know that in the UK you cannot recommend a financial product unless you are a qualified financial advisor registered with the regulatory body. This has caused alot of issues in the promotion of financial products via affiliate marketing and now many affiliate sites carry disclaimers saying that they are not qualified and their site does not constitute qualified advice. _________________ Finance Choices |

I'll need to look into this, though I'm pretty sure that regulations in US are not as strict as they are in UK. _________________ Online Finance Education :: College Degrees |

I think that you can do is create a disclaimer in the registration and also in a thread that any discussions are just that discussions and are not recommendations of any product or services. All items that are discussed in this forum are not ment to influence your investment decisions at all but just to discuss ideas and thoughts of other members.
But this is a very interesting topic now.
I always take most forum posts with a "grain of salt" IMO the primary purpose of forum is to share ideas.
But if someone is posts about a service they they used and just state their experiences I don't see how that would be in any violation. But now this would make may very warry to post anything but generic posts about subject. _________________ James

This approach seems wise. Ok, I need to work on this as well. BTW, am I the only who feels like there is more and more and more work to do, though some stuff are actually getting done ? _________________ Online Finance Education :: College Degrees |
