Announcing "Articles on Finance and Accounting"

I just created a new forum "Articles on Finance and Accounting" forum. The forum is set up for you to find number of articles on variety of finance and accounting topics. You can add your thought if you'd like to have a say. Also invite other members to discussions if you want to look into certain issues with them.

I have been contemplating about creating a comprehensive list of articles on finance and accounting. But I have not have come up with a good format for this, so this "Articles on Finance and Accounting" forum is an experiment to me as well. This does not concern most of forum members, but I just wanted to mention some background information.

There is another thing I'd like to mention. Some of you may know that I am a big fan of Lawrence Lessig. Those of you who know Lawrence Lessig probably know Creative Commons and its idea behind it. Creative Commons has set up licensing scheme based on Prof. Lawrence Lessig's idea and design, and a lot of people have been promoting it for some time. Major development took place this week (the week of March 24th); Yahoo has made some enhancement in their search engine and created the interface to search content published under Creative Commons' licensing scheme. This basically allows me to create this "Articles on Finance and Accounting" forum. Personally, I'd like to thank Creative Commons and Prof. Lawrence Lessig and congratulate them on this major accomplishment here. Congratulations!

As this point, yes. It works well. I don't know if Google or MSN plans to do something similar, but Yahoo is the only SE that provides this feature currently.

I'm pretty impressed that Y got a feature like this and beat Google to the punch.

Usually G does everything first, so that gets old.
