Just a quick aesthetic point, wouldnt it be a good idea to move the top 2 google ads to the right of the logo.
It would mean less scrolling and will improve the look of the forum and if you put the forum menu under it it could increase your click through ratio.

Reduce it in size by about 65% and align it to the left.

What if I want anther 468x60 ad (banner or text) somewhere? What would you suggest?

If you want a 468X60 banner I would move the FAQ :: Search :: Memberlist :: Usergroups, Profile, etc menu to the right and put the banner to the left under the logo and the :forum:directory:store:, etc menu

It really depends on your resolutions. YOu will need to find a medium really. It will be hard to have it work well for all.
