I'm guessing that spammers have a list of forums to forum-spam. So, the longer you run your forum, the greater chance you get your forum placed in the list. Once that happens, you'd start seeing a bunch of forum spams like this forum. _________________ Online Finance Education :: College Degrees |

I have had spammers getting around the phpBB verification on one of our boards recently. We've put in an additional measure in order to control the situation.

I think it was something on phpBBhacks.com - very simple, it is. It just says "are you human?" and you check a box in order to proceed. It might not fool the more intelligent spam bots but it should handle most.
