Hi, and thanks for having me to this message board forum. I've been an avid investor and lover of good money habits for a long time, specifically, since I finished college almost 20 years ago and set out to make sure I didn't make the same mistakes my parents did (and still do)! I hope to learn and contribute a lot over time at eFinancialDistrict.

See ya around the boards,

- Frank

Welcome, 24Hours... I like to think I have good money habits also. My first rule of finance would be "don't spend what you don't have". Smile

Lordy, don't get started on that. I know it's a problem nation-wide, the whole credit card debt and living beyond your means spendaholic thing, but around me, I bet it's worse than average. A lot of money in my general region and a lot of spoiled kids. This has translated into an epidemic of credit card debt ... but like I said, don't get started. I will save those feelings for a thread besides an introductory one!

It just gets worse and worse here in the UK too.

From http://www.socialistparty.org.uk/2006/451/index.html?id=np3b.htm

Quote:
Latest figures show repossessions and debt levels are at a 15-year high with a record 26,000 people becoming insolvent in England and Wales during the second three months of 2006 - a 66% increase on the same period in 2005. The number of personal insolvencies is expected to exceed 100,000 by the end of the year.

It's kind of sad, isn't it? UK used to colonize US. US declared independence 200+ years ago. US surpassed UK in terms of economical and political power right around WWII. US has been going downhill in many areas for the last 20 years or so, however. Personal debt is one of them. But where does UK stand today? UK is following US and UK is copying every bad thing that US does. Pretty sad ...

If we're going to make this the most depressing Introductory hello thread ever, and depress me, why hold back? Start whipping out those child molestation and suicide rates!

LOL I would rather poke fun at you for you Coffee habit;)

Don't spend to much money on it when you can get it for FREE.

Actually the worst coffee I ever had was at the McDonalds in Windsor Colorado. I think they had soap residue in it. Plus the Fire House a local bar/pub restraunt really close to it has excelent coffee.

But speaking of sucide if anyone is going to do it could you please hang yourself on the flag pole at PVYSC 2200 "O" Street Greeley Colorado. They are worse then the fig tree Jesus cursed!!!
