Hi there,
Am I right that there are no avatars going on around here or do I have a setting off somewhere? In case it's what I suspect, that no avatars are in place, I will make my suggestion be to include them! 
I say that for this reason and this reason alone: I tend to see who is posting in a thread by their avatar as I scroll down. It's habit, I guess. Having to read the name of the person (not identifying them instantly) is annoying to me since I am used to the convenience of instant identification.
Just one man's view and suggestion!

I would bet no, considering the alternative is this being the first time I've seen a forum where everyone I ran across coincidentally decided not to use an avatar! I ain't buying it!
