Gold, platinum, or silver?

To me, Gold is King, but damn, Platinum's greater rarity is attractive. Silver has perks too, like being in more convenient forms to use as money in a disaster situation.

Gosh... I have no idea. I personally like platinum but I do wonder if gold is a safer bet.

What gold has is the wider recognition and familiarity as money. Interestingly, silver is probably most known and the only precious metal used as money that people still have memory using. 90% silver coins are a legitimate way to hold silver, for example, since they are already recognizable and validated by Government as money.

I can make a case for each metal.

I only wear one piece of metal persoanlly and that is my wedding band. It is platinum. In terms of investment i have no idea if you can invest in platinum.
