Hard to beat ING for savings and CD rates. If you are not familiar with them you might wanna check them out.

ING are quite popular over here to, and often offer good rates.
Right now, I'm looking for good rates for a business account. That seems a tougher proposition in the UK than I think it should be. All the 'league tables' are for personal savings, and I rarely find any useful info about the best savings rates for business savings accounts.

I lack experience there, so I don't know if it is difficult to shop for business savings rates here as well. Good luck with your search.

I have an account with Northern Rock of all places. It seems to be one of the best out there - despite the recent problems - and is guaranteed to be a good rate until 2012. It also ought to be one of the safest savings accounts going...
